ABB Robot User Club (ARUC) meeting was held in Vaasa, Finland from 31st of August to 1st of September.
Part of the event was expo where Noux Node participated in together with B&R Automation, part of ABB group. We demonstrated a solution where new version of the PLC code (Automation studio project) including ABB robot code (RAPID project) was published at Github, pushed to file system of NouxCloud where EdgeAPP in local network fetched the package and updated the automation system of the robot cell. Both PLC as well as the robot.
ARUC consists of both end users of the robots (factories) and system integrators. Both find the solution valuable and bringing IT methods to machinery and OT network is a hot topic.
